Cornerstone is currently hiring for a Machine Vibration Analyst and a Dynamic Balancing Technician.

Here are the ideal qualifications for Machine Vibration Analysts. 

Successful candidate must:

  • Possess a high school degree or equivalent (two or four-year degree a plus)
  • Hold Category I, II, or III certification by the Vibration Institute, Technical Associates of Charlotte, or equivalent
  • Have a working knowledge of vibration data collection equipment
  • Have a working knowledge of vibration management software, preferably Ludeca OMNITREND
  • Demonstrate willingness and ability to work in a variety of work environments ranging from smock-up clean rooms to hot and dirty process plants
  • Possess exceptional communication skills
  • Have dependable transportation
  • Be a US citizen or permanent resident
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Be drug and alcohol free

Here are the ideal qualifications for Dynamic Balancing Technician.

Successful candidate must:

  • Perform in-house dynamic balancing on a variation of rotating parts, including but not limited to: impellers, rotors, fan wheels, conveyor rolls, etc. This includes: operating the balance stand(s) to locate points of imbalance, calculating the amount of weight needing to be added or removed, and using hand tools, power tools or welding to add/remove weight to parts to reach balance specification.
  • Track parts status and communicate with customers.
  • Light machining duties such as turning down a shaft on a lathe or drilling holes using a drill press.
  • Assist with mechanical repairs in the shop and field as needed

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in dynamic balancing
  • Welding and machining skills highly desired
  • Safety oriented
  • Willing and able to work in hot/dirty work environments

  • Be drug and alcohol-free
