Here are the ideal qualifications for Dynamic Balancing Technician.
Successful candidate must:
Perform in-house dynamic balancing on a variation of rotating parts, including but not limited to: impellers, rotors, fan wheels, conveyor rolls, etc. This includes: operating the balance stand(s) to locate points of imbalance, calculating the amount of weight needing to be added or removed, and using hand tools, power tools or welding to add/remove weight to parts to reach balance specification.
Track parts status and communicate with customers.
Light machining duties such as turning down a shaft on a lathe or drilling holes using a drill press.
Assist with mechanical repairs in the shop and field as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $22.00 per hour
High School diploma or equivalent
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in dynamic balancing
Welding and machining skills highly desired
Willing and able to work in hot/dirty work environments
Have dependable transportation
Pass a criminal background check
Be drug and alcohol-free
Overtime and holiday pay rates when applicable
